This wasn’t the birthday present I was expecting – but then what do you get for a fellah who has everything.
My wife got me a nice pair of clogs, not the one’s you see in Holland, which are made out of wood, cumbersome to wear and quite heavy.
She got me a pair of clogs made of a mesh fabric which were extremely comfortable, which I could wear indoors and outdoors. I like a bit of gardening, so they were perfect. And I was going on a beach holiday, so they were just as good for that.
What’s nice about lightweight sandals is that you can wear them all day and your feet won’t get tired. Obviously if I was going on a long walk I would not wear these. I have spotted some people wearing them for work, like the girl at the local supermarket.
I forgot to say that they are unisex, which is quite convenient if my wife wants to wear them. And, had I not liked them, she would quite easily have made them her own, though she may have struggled as she is two sizes smaller than me.
These clogs come at a very reasonable price of £24.99, look quite fashionable, and you can get them in a multiple of colours. Mine were in blue and white. They also come in grey, green, orange and black. When I wore them on the beach I kept getting looks. I could have quite easily become a rep for the company. So, here I am doing just that.

The only complaint I could find is that there is a bit of an odour when you get them. This is the factory smell which disappears quite quickly.
I would strongly recommend them to anyone wanting a lightweight, comfortable pair of clogs or slippers for indoors and outdoors. If you do want to wear the wooden clogs, wear them with socks, but don’t wear them to the beach as they will be heavy and tire your feet.
