If you or your kids want to take photos underwater consider purchasing a Waterproof Phone Pouch. At a snip of a price of £8.99 it’s an excellent item to take with you to the sea or swimming pool while on holiday.
Your children will love it and so will the adults. From my experience, not one drop of water got in and the pouch offered perfect vision through the material. The photos came out well and the phone stayed locked inside and dry.
However, one thing you need to be aware of is that this model does not float. If you want a floaty one, you need to buy the air filled frame versions.
Initially when I bought it I put tissue paper inside to test it for any water leakage and the tissue came out bone dry. I then put in my phone in and it worked. I even heard reports of someone dropping it in a lake and it getting pulled out 48 hours later with the phone dry and in working order, despite the extreme temperatures.
Not all people use this pouch for
underwater photography, but to hold things like documents, car keys,
ID, credit cards, cash and passports.
The pouch is durable as it is made from PC and PVC materials. The super thin material is 0.3mm, which makes it touch sensitive friendly, providing no delay, and is IP68 certified, allowing it to go to a depth of 30 meters underwater.
I have used the pouch on the beach, but it is more than suitable for swimming, underwater snorkeling, surfing, skiing, fishing, rafting and boating. It’s great for catching underwater videos and pictures.
Its length and width is 8.6″x 4.3″, making it compatible for a phone up to 7.5 inches. Make sure your iPhone is not bigger as you will find that it doesn’t fit. A friend of mine had a Samsung and it was too big.
The multi-colour pouch also comes with a bonus of a sturdy lanyard on the top for easy carrying, freeing your hands to have fun!
There are more expensive pouches if you are not satisfied. It certainly fits my needs, so I give it five stars.
