There’s nothing like a good pair of slippers to take with you on holiday to roam around in your hotel room. And. this pair really fits the bill.

Memory Foam

Despite being made in China, their quality is quite remarkable. What I like best about these RockDove slippers is they have a memory foam insole which moulds to your foot and gives you extra protection.
  The slippers also allow you to slip them on and off with ease, as they are bitted with an upper and back li to prevent your slipper from flopping off your foot, especially when walking down stairs.

Comfort And Non-Slip

   The slippers are very comfortable, particularly after a hard day’s work. I just slip into them and rest my feet.
  The manufacturers say the slippers have a breathable  waffle-knit upper, which helps you avoid sweaty feet, keeping your toes dry and odourless. They are made from 100% vegan and are machine washable material.
  Other features include a sturdy  rubber sole which stops you from slipping when you want to pop outside to do some chores like taking the rubbish out.

  Before you buy, check out the “Size Chart” next to the size selection menu. If you have wide feet, we recommend going up a size. They come in many colours including blue, green, orange, red and yellow.

Good

The slippers look good even after a few months of wear and have even kept their shape and are as comfortable as the day I bought them. I once described them as like “walking on clouds”.

The hard sole has been durable, not cracking, and useful in being non-slip and allowing me to do the odd chore outside the house like putting the rubbish in the bins or going out to the garage.

I have had so many other slippers that simply fell apart after 6 months. These are still going strong over one year on and have been washed once in washing machine.

Bad

If it has been raining, be careful using these slippers outside. If you don’t get the right size they can cause you problems like being too big, with your feet slipping around inside. If you have tiled or varnished floors exercise more care. I bought these for quick trips to the bins or out the garden, and if it’s wet out, I have to be careful walking back into the house.

  I’m actually finding that I’m just putting on my shoes to go out and do these chores, even though the slippers are just sitting by the door.

The sizes can be larger than stated. A friend ordered the 6/7 size and they were big and felt more like an 8+. The memory foam is advertised as thick and high quality but can be thin. In that case, you may have to put on an extra pair of socks when it gets cold.

Verdict

On balance I think that these slippers are a really good buy for the price. I still wear mine after a year. I usually don’t go out into the garden or garage with them on. I definitely wouldn’t wear them if the ground is wet outside. The slippers are still comfortable and I would recommend anyone buying them. I always wear socks when I wear slippers, though I appreciate some people don’t.
