Things You Need For A Beach Trip

Whether you are going to Blackpool in England or to the Cocoa Island beaches in the Maldives, you will need to make sure you have all the right gear to enjoy your beach holiday. Anything missing from your bag like suntan lotion may incur an added expense to your trip.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, top of my list would be  a family beach bag. It would have to be extra large one to carry all the beach items and have lots of pockets to insert all the smaller items such as sandals, sun cream and kids toys. A beach bag with extra strong quick drying mesh which allows for airflow for those damp towels and swimming trunks would be useful.

CLASSIC WITH A MODERN TWIST

Inside I would put a couple of beach towels, an outdoor blanket or beach mat. Sunscreen is important and a new pair of sunglasses would be useful to beat off the sun. This year’s fashion for women focuses on a classic appearance with a modern twist. That is sunglasses made from premium acetate, an environmentally-friendly material that is harder than normal plastics, but possessing a texture that does not fade.

Another thing to watch out for is that not all beaches are sandy. A few years back when I was holidaying in the south of France, I found myself buying a pair of sandals, as walking on hot pebbles was too painful.

MY BEACH LIST

Tank top, shorts and a hat would also be on my beach list. If I decided to take a dip, trunks, swimming goggles, mask and flippers would be essential. I would then need shampoo and soap to have a wash down.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. A beach canopy would be the perfect shelter from the sun. It is made from a polyester fabric which is both durable and not easy to tear. It also comes with a beach blanket which ensures a chilled experience and has reinforced poles which make it more stable.

Other items needed would be a spade and bucket if kids wanted to build a sand castle, dig for treasure, or collect shells. A  beach bat and ball would be a great distraction.              An inflatable would keep them busy for hours and while dad is looking after them, mum might want to read a book while she’s topping up her tan.

Don’t forget to send us a postcard.
